Lifetime Defender
Do you have a favorite animal that is dear to your heart and would like to cover the cost of care for the rest of their life? If you would like to be the Lifetime Defender for that animal, become a $100 monthly donor for the duration of their life! You will receive personal updates about the animal, a certificate of defendership, a matted photo, recognition on the animal’s webpage, two tickets to our annual fundraiser gala, and all of the regular member gifts as you reach each membership tier. Volunteer
W.O.L.F. relies heavily on volunteer help for running day-to-day life at the Sanctuary and therefore we need volunteers 365 days a year. Tasks vary from administrative assignments and maintenance projects to caring for the animals at the Sanctuary and in rescue situations. MORE INFORMATION

Work Group
Work groups are essential for getting large maintenance and facility projects accomplished around the Sanctuary. Typical tasks include but are not limited to: enclosure maintenance and repair, forest management, chipping, climbing up and down steep hillsides, grounds maintenance and other hard, dirty jobs you would not otherwise associate with wolves. King Soopers Community Rewards
You can make a difference even while you shop for groceries at King Soopers! Create a digital account that is attached to your King Soopers card or Alt ID, go to the Community Rewards tab and search “W.O.L.F. Sanctuary” or use our organization number “UU724,” then enroll! It is that easy! Every time you use your King Soopers card or Alt ID, you will be helping us!

Each quarter, King Soopers gives $2.5 million to the organizations who are a part of the Community Rewards Program. W.O.L.F. receives the percent of that payout that is equivalent to the percent that shoppers who have chosen us spend at King Soopers compared to the amount spent by everyone else who has enrolled in the program. For example, if shoppers who have chosen W.O.L.F. spend 1% of the total amount spent by those enrolled in the program, we will receive 1% of the $2.5 million payout. The more supporters we have shopping for us, the more we receive from the payout! This does not take the place of the Fuel Points Program so you can get your fuel points and help us at the same time!
State Tax return
MyGivingCircle
Help us receive grant funds by voting for us on MyGivingCircle. The organizations with the most votes, receive a share of the grant funds. It is completely free to vote and you can vote once a week, every week. You can also donate through MyGivingCircle and each dollar equals one vote: $1 = 1 vote, $25 = 25 votes, etc.
You can even take it one step further and contribute a little money to have us featured in MyGivingCircle’s website and communications. This will make us visible to other donors who support similar organizations. The money you contribute will go into the grant money pool and you will be helping us gain new like-minded supporters!

Join iGive, select W.O.L.F. as your charity and a percentage of what you spend is donated to the Sanctuary (on average 3%). The stores pay for it all. You never pay more, and sometimes even pay less with coupons and deals! With over 1,700+ stores participating there is sure to be something for everyone.

Support W.O.L.F. on eBay! Sell and donate 10-100% of your eBay sale to W.O.L.F. eBay will give you a credit on basic selling fees, and you’ll get a tax deduction too. Look for the blue and gold charity ribbon when you shop. Proceeds from those listings will benefit a nonprofit. Give a dollar (or more) to a featured nonprofit when you buy on eBay and pay by PayPal. You don’t have to buy or sell to make an immediate gift to your favorite nonprofit.

Qualified Charitable Distribution
If you have a traditional IRA and are 70 1/2 or older, you now must take the required minimum distribution (RMD), even if you don’t need or want the funds at that time. A qualified charitable distribution (QCD) allows you to distribute the minimum required amount while avoiding the excise tax penalty and income tax on the distribution.
It works by bypassing the owner and going directly to the charity of your choice. By doing this, you can also keep your adjusted gross income and taxable income within a desired range and prevent your income from reaching the thresholds for the net investment income tax.
And if you have already been donating to W.O.L.F., you can now do so without having those funds taxed first. Talk to your financial advisor and see if this option is beneficial to you.
