W.O.L.F. (Wolves Offered Live and Friendship) is a non-profit organization that was established in 1995 with the mission of rescue, sanctuary and education for wolves and wolf dog hybrids. W.O.L.F. is the current home of 30 captive-born wolves and wolf dogs that have been rescued from often life-threatening situations. At the sanctuary, we provide life-long care for each of our residents, but our mission doesn’t stop there. Another big part of W.O.L.F.’s mission is placing 100s of other wolves and wolf-dogs through a nationwide network of sanctuaries, rescues and knowledgeable private owners. Our mission is critical because these animals are often neglected, abused and abandoned with an estimation of over 200,000 of these captive-born animals sold as pets each year and up to 90-95% euthanized by the age of 2 because they are purchased by owners who aren’t equipped to care for them. W.O.L.F. has been saving thousands of animals through a large network in its 28-year history, and now we ask you to help us continue this essential work.
